Couple changes to the project list.

I removed [Gunma] Love Selection from the list since there is an uncensored, english version.  It's reasonably price too on amazon .  I encourage everyone who is interested in it to buy it.  It's rare enough that someone license hentai manga from a good artist and brings it to us uncensored.

As I was looking closer at [Wata 120 Percent (Menyoujan)] TastYui (ToLOVE-Ru) the images are so dark, image quality is lost.  The best I can do is this.

It's certainly an improvement but there is a LOT of dust and the coloring is still a bit off and it took a while to play with different adjustment layers just to get it there.  It would be faster just to scan a hard copy and edit that so I'll be waiting probably a week or two for that to arrive.

While I was ordering stuff I figure I'd buy Clesta- orz23 and 24 so those should arrive together so those will be delayed as well until they arrive.  Clesta- orz 23 was workable but if I'm buying one doujinshi might as well order a few things because the shipping costs does not go up that much after the first item.

As much as I like to support the artists the majority of the the money goes to couriers services and shipping.  I wish more of these doujin artists released high quality digital versions that we could buy directly from them so it would be easier to support them.  Though digital versions of doujins that do exist, like from dlsite, often have much worse censoring than hard copy equivalents.  *Sigh*

To put some numbers out there for people, my last order with Clesta orz 21 and 22 cost $55 to buy these two doujinshi and the each book was 525 yen or about $13.25 for the two.  So that's $41.75 for courier services, Japanese taxes, shipping and handling, and bank fees.  One can figure, that out of $13.25 a portion of that goes to the merchant, publisher, and printing costs.  Whatever is left over after that goes to the artist, which is probably between $1-$5 for two doujinshi.  Cut that number in half for the amount for every one doujinshi.  *double sigh*

After $55 and only a few dollars ends up with the artist?  That's an ineffective way to support an artist. And people wonder why we scan and pirate the stuff? *double facepalm sigh*

There's only one thing to do to relieve this kind of stress...Decensor!  Well, okay maybe two things...

Even though this ended up being a mini-rant, I hope you found it informative since I don't think it's common knowledge.

The middle image had to be resized smaller in order to be uploaded to imagevenue since it's originally larger than 3 MB so if you want the original size you'll need to use one of the download link rather than click on the images and saving directly.

A few side notes, mediafire didn't delete my last upload so I'll try leaving the file name as is to see if it's the file names or if it's the old account that they are targeting.

For any scanners/editors out there I figure I'll share a tip that comes in handy from time to time like with this upload.  In the raws (eg p14) here the leveling was a little low, often to fix this you can auto level like (this).  But a problem comes up, since this leaves the image with a noticable contrast difference.  I've bought enough doujins from NiseMidi to know that not how it would look on paper.  By lowering the contrast the bright areas get darker and the dark areas get brighter.  Then you can follow up with a leveling adjustment to make the image darker without worrying about overdoing the dark areas since you just made the dark areas brighter.  After the adjustment the dark area should look the same as before but the rest of the image is darker and less washed out.  I also adjusted the hue by a few points to make it look a little less red all over, but that was just for this particular image, you may not need to for every image.  The results are (this).

One last thing,  on August 25th Guild Wars 2 comes out and I'm a big Guild wars fan so obviously I am very excited about the game.  The reason I mention this is instead of spending almost all my free time decensoring, like a do now, I'll probably be spliting my free time between Guild Wars 2 and decensoring so releases will probably slow down for a bit.

Scanned my own copy for this one as well.  The contrast was so high on the other scan that it was beyond correcting.  The english version is mostly taken from Ryuutama's translation but some parts were a very literal translation.  I modified some parts of the translation to be less literal as an attempt to have it flow better while maintaining the basic meaning.
